Answers worth keeping.
Module FAQs and published teacher guidance, together. Official handbook guidance takes precedence.
What must our team bring for the Week 2 checkpoint?
Bring a one-page sourced problem statement, a dated source list, an old-versus-new comparison, and the updated assumption register. Use at least three current secondary sources or two fresh user conversations. The problem must be narrow, testable, and evidenced.
What is required for Assessment 1?
Assessment 1 is a group pitch deck worth 20%, due Friday 6 November 2026 at 23:59. Use exactly six PowerPoint slides, with no appendix or hidden seventh slide. The brief calls for the same approved team file through LMO and Dream Chaser; keep both timestamped receipts. Follow its six-slide architecture and AI-use placement instruction.
How may we use generative AI in ENT303TC?
Use AI for research support and language improvement, not as a substitute for original analysis or professional judgment. Human-check every claim and disclose permitted assistance through the approved AI Use Declaration.
Was Word or Excel accepted for the Week 1 shared-link record?
Yes. Ava's Supervisor & Student Q&A accepted either format for the Week 1 LMO record if the shareable team-log link, session/team identifier and supervisor were clear. Keep the link accessible and updated; this does not change assessment submission formats.
How do I request a group change?
Ask your assigned supervisor or session TA to confirm whether changes are still possible. Within the same session and supervisor, the supervisor decides and tells the TA to update the roster. Across sessions, there must be no timetable clash, both supervisors must approve, and every member of both affected groups must agree. The Q&A's deadline was relative to its briefing week, so do not assume the window is still open.
What do we bring for the Week 3 market and competitor checkpoint?
Bring a TAM/SAM/SOM workbook with sourced assumptions and visible formulas, a comparison of at least three real competitors or substitutes, and a testable USP hypothesis. The supervisor checks whether the SOM is plausible and each number and alternative can be explained.
What do we bring for the Week 4 research-design checkpoint?
Bring research questions linked to unresolved assumptions, a participant/recruitment plan, the interview, survey or test instrument, and a consent/data-handling plan. Pilot the instrument with at least one person where feasible, or explain why a pilot was not feasible.
What evidence is expected for Week 5 primary data collection?
The weekly guide asks for three to five interactions or tests with real target users, dated raw evidence and a research log, anonymised participant IDs, and a cautious interim pattern summary. Keep negative evidence and distinguish what people did or said from your interpretation.
What is the Week 6 direction decision based on?
Cluster evidence into at least three analytical insights linked to Evidence IDs. Bring an updated persona or journey map, before/after problem statement, and a decision-log entry explaining why the team will pivot or persevere. Label weak or provisional insights honestly.
What should we compare before choosing our Assessment 1 concept?
In Week 7, develop at least three materially different concepts, compare them using explicit weighted criteria, record rejected or combined ideas, and draft the six-slide deck storyboard. Be able to explain the leading option and the remaining uncertainty.
What are the Assessment 2 video requirements?
Assessment 2 is a group English-language MP4 pitch video worth 20%, due Friday 18 December 2026. It must be 3–6 minutes and at most 500 MB, with clear audio and readable visuals. The assessment brief calls for the same approved file through LMO and Dream Chaser; keep both receipts.
What is required for the individual reflection report?
Assessment 4 is an individual 1,500–2,000-word Word report worth 30%, due Friday 16 April 2027 through LMO. The brief asks for four labelled themes, specific personal evidence, a recognised reflective model, at least three academic references in APA 7, and an AI Use Declaration where required. Write and submit your own report.
